The Dothan Eufaula District is in Southeast Alabama and is comprised of five counties and ten cities. There are twenty-one churches, with nineteen pastors in the Dothan-Eufaula District. The Dothan-Eufaula District was part of the Old ‘Solid’ South Alabama Annual Conference. It was reorganized from three districts that consisted of Ozark, Dothan-Eufaula, and Troy, which became two District now known as Dothan-Eufaula, and Ozark-Troy of the Solid South Alabama Annual Conference. This was done in the year 2002. In the year of 2010, the boundaries of the “Solid” South Conference was changed and ratified by the 49th Session of the 2012 General Conference. We are now known as Dothan-Eufaula District of the “Solid” Southeast Alabama Annual Conference. There have been 10 Presiding Elders that have served the Dothan-Eufaula District and the current Presiding Elder is the Reverend Dr. Frederick D. Sherrod, III.
