West Birmingham Ensley Greensboro District

The West Birmingham Ensley Greensboro District (WBEG District)is a member of the Northwest Alabama Conference of the 9th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The WBEG District is one of three Presiding Elder Districts born as the result of a 2008 merger between the North Alabama Conference and the West Alabama Conference.
The West Birmingham Ensley Greensboro District consists of nineteen (19) churches totaling 1,160 members. The district spans across two counties: Jefferson and Hale.
Rev. Gloria A. Hall has faithfully and joyfully served as the Presiding Elder of the district since November 2019.
